Song Remixes

Song Remixes are becoming more and more common these days as popular artists become less and less talented, and need a way to stay popular (What better way the capitalising on other success, right?)

Now, In some circumstances its a good thing. The Remix takes the original song to a new level, providing a new view on an old idea. For example, Kinobe's summer in the Studio - a remix of Lovin' Spoonful's Summer in the City, is a good remix. The two songs are similar enough, so that you can recognise that is IS a remix, but different enough to have their OWN uniqueness to them, that gives them a good sound.

There are other examples, but I feel that I will step on peoples toes if I dare mention them.

I like Original recordings. I find it vary rare to have a remix better then the original (I know my brother disagrees with me), but Remix have their place. EXCEPT WHEN IT COMES TO BUTHOLE ASS-MUNCHERS RUINING A PERFECTLY GOOD SONG, SO THAT THEY CAN CAPITALISE ON ITS FAME, AND BECOME MORE POPULAR. I AM TALKING TO YOU - AUDIO BULLY!

Oh yeah, I heard your remix of Nancy Sinatra's Bang Bang (a cover of Sonny Bono's Song - I know) today, and I have to say, I was sickened to my stomach. You basically took a perfectly good song, complete with its lovely guitar, and the amazing clarity of Nancy Sinatra's Voice - hitting and holding all the right notes - and added a couple DUUF Noises here and there.

YOU COMPLETELY FUCKED UP THE SONG YOU ASS MONKEYS!!! TO PUT IT IN TERMS YOU MIGHT UNDERSTAND, ITS LIKE TAKING A COPY OF UNDERWORLD - BORN SLIPPY, AND ADDING A TRACK OF A GUY DOING IMPRESSIONIST JAZZ!!! IT JUST TURNS SOMETHING SPECIAL INTO SOME BULLSHIT!!

And FOR WHAT? its not any good. The only reason it has any success is because people think of the original. ITS NOT A FUCKING IMPROVEMENT!!! AND FUCK YOU IF YOU THINK IT IS, YOUR FUCKING WRONG!!!

To prove my point, here is a copy of Bang Bang - rerecorded (NOTE: re-recordings and NOT remixes) for the Tarantino film Kill Bill, and below, the music video from the MONKEY SPANKING - ASS CLOWNS (aka Audio Bully)

And now THE FUCKTARD'S VERSION (aka Audio Bully)

Like it says at the top, if you don't like what I have to say, why don't you write about it on YOUR OWN blog!
